Almost fifty motorcycles participated in the funeral procession for SSgt. Sandy Britt on a bright sunny day in the gently rolling hills of central Florida. Sandy Britt was laid to rest in the Oak Lawn Cemetery in Sanford Florida in the early afternoon, with Honors, surrounded by friends and family. Among those mourning the loss of this brave soldier were local firefighters, the Patriot Guard Riders, and Florida Old Guard from around the state. It is always a sad occasion when one of America's fine young defenders is saluted in a final goodbye. It is imperative that we acknowledge their contribution to Freedom and Democracy. It is also important to remember why we fight this War. America is a better place, a stronger Nation, because of the life of Sandy Britt. God Bless, and God Speed, Sandy...
